Fostering in North East England

UK Fostering is a growing Independent Fostering Agency recently achieving preferred provider status for local authorities in the North East. UK Fostering aims to recruit, train and support passionate and committed individuals who can help change the lives of children requiring foster care.

The number of children and young people coming into care is at record levels and many have suffered varying levels of abuse and neglect. Children in care are by definition moving from at least one home to another and it is important, where possible, that local foster placements can be found which can keep them in school and in touch with their friends and wider family. Too many children have to move away from everyone they know in order to find a suitable foster placement.

We are seeking carers throughout the North East region, this includes Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, South Tyneside, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Sunderland and surrounding areas.

Why Foster for UK Fostering
As an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ provider of services

We are rated as ‘OUTSTANDING’ in all areas by Ofsted and can guarantee that you will be supported at every step of the way, through your allocated social worker from UK Fostering, regular training, support groups and additional services such as access to a financial advisor, counselling helpline, legal advice, and others. You name it, we are always with you on your journey and together we can make a positive difference to the lives of children.

The recruitment team of Lynsey, Rachel, Tim & Parveen look forward to talking to you.
