Yuko Bielmann – Head of Operations

Yuko has been with UK Fostering from the onset and has contributed in so many ways to the success of the organisation as the backbone of the administration. She oversees the assessment process of new carers in relation to statutory checks, references and quality assurance of the administrative elements of the assessments. She is also responsible for the smooth running of the fostering panel and ensures that all the administrative processes in terms of the approval of foster carers are completed to quality and time scales.

Prior to helping with the start of UK Fostering, Yuko worked in residential care and was managing a unit of adults with learning disabilities. She holds a management qualification and has detailed knowledge of safeguarding aspects as well as HR processes.
