Charlotte – Senior Practitioner

Charlotte graduated from Sheffield Hallam University as a Social Worker in 2013 and had previously always worked within health and social care settings with children and adults, including; Safeguarding in a specialist school for children with learning disabilities transitioning to adulthood, elderly residential homes and Children’s Residential Homes. Charlotte joined the UK Fostering in the Midlands as the first Supervising Social Worker, in January 2014 to specialise in Fostering. During this time, Charlotte has contributed to the successful growth of UK Fostering in the Midlands region including; assessing applicants, completing Form F’s, supervising families and supporting children from newborns to adulthood.

Charlotte is also a co-coordinator of the Children & Young People’s Council. She is passionate about giving children and young people their voice to raise awareness of issues affecting them and encourage them to make improvements to the agency and give them the best experiences whilst living with our foster carers.

In her spare time, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her children and going on holidays.
