Javeria – Youth Support Worker

Hi, my name is Javeria, and I’ve recently joined the UK Fostering Midlands team in November 2023 as a support worker.

I graduated in July 2023 at Coventry University, and I was studying childhood youth and education studies. Whilst I was studying at college and university, I completed placement at many different settings such as hospitals, residential homes, nurseries and schools. Therefore, I have experience working with children and young people of different ages which has given me the opportunity to understand children’s needs and strengthen my experience and knowledge in a fostering setting.

In my spare time, I like to bake and spend time with my three cats! I’m also a huge fan of Harry Potter so occasionally I’m always watching all the Harry Potter movies on repeat.
