Rachel – Senior Social Worker

Hi, my name is Rachel. I gained my Masters of Social Work from Durham University in 2006.  Following this I worked within a Local Authority safeguarding team for 11 years.  I then became an Independent Social Worker working for several IFA’s (one of which was UK Fostering NE!) across England and Wales mainly focusing on assessment work.  Whilst I had worked with UK Fostering NE for the preceding 7 years, I joined the North East team as a Senior Social Worker in January 2025.
