Sandra – Business Development Manager
Before joining UK Fostering, Sandra had worked in London for 27 years, obtaining a wealth of admin exposure and spent 18 years within a Private Equity company. Sandra’s role, during that time, covered many aspects of the daily running of the business; from compliance, company secretarial, IT, mentoring, investor relations and facilities management. After facing redundancy, Sandra took the monumental decision to embark on a journey into the world of fostering as a foster carer, which she did for a couple of years. Later making the decision to return to the world of business, Sandra undertook to provide, not only a busines perspective but first hand knowledge of the challenges children/young people faced in care and a fuller understanding of the larger picture UK Fostering is trying to achieve.
