North West England fostering placements

We feel that the opportunity for children to stay in the area they are from is crucial to the well-being of any child in care. This means that a child in need of a foster family has the right to remain in the same area of North West England where their friends and family are, and where they feel most at home. It also means, where possible, we avoid causing further trauma to a child in care by allowing them to stay in the same school, easing the process of settling in to a new home with a new family.

Thinking about fostering in North West England?

We aim to provide a solid support network to our foster carers including regular visits and phone calls, meetings and professional networks such as financial and legal advice. This ensures the fostering process is a valuable and rewarding experience for all involved. We also allow for a smooth transfer for those who would like to change fostering agencies from their current provider to UK Fostering.
